Greenville County Animal Care announced today it is now a no-kill community.
The announcement was made Tuesday on the organizations Facebook page. The post expressed thanks to those who played a part in helping build a no-kill community and that they “finally crossed the finish line” with a 91% save rate in 2019.
GCAC works to reduce pet overpopulation, keeping pets at home and educating the community and is dedicated to promoting the compassionate treatment of animals in the community through adoption, education and affordable spay/neuter and veterinary care. The organization has the largest, most diverse selection of adoptable pets in the Upstate.
