The city of Fountain Inn will begin repaving and refurbishing projects on three downtown parking lots, beginning March 14.
The project will add 13 total new spots, including new handicapped parking across three lots, including behind the splash pad on McKnight Street, Weston/Trade Street and Jones Street.

Work on all three lots will be done simultaneously and is expected to last 60 to 90 days, depending on the weather. All impacted areas will be closed through the project and the city is working with surrounding private lots to ensure public access to some of those temporarily. The city will also announce special parking plans for any festivals/events that may be impacted.
