Fifth Third Bank announced May 27 a $5,300 donation to nonprofit Loaves & Fishes of Greenville.
“We are honored to serve our community by helping to provide meals through organizations like Loaves & Fishes of Greenville for those who are hungry,” said Fifth Third Bank Mid-Atlantic region president Lee Fite. “We are proud to play a part in fulfilling the Bank’s commitment to serving our communities and are working closely with local food banks here in the Carolinas to help meet their needs.”
Loaves & Fishes of Greenville will use the funds towards its mission to reduce hunger in Greenville County by rescuing food that would otherwise be wasted and delivering it to partner agencies for distribution to those in need.
