A Child’s Haven, a therapeutic childcare service provider, and the ECPI University Nursing Program have partnered for Wellness Day at A Child’s Haven’s campus on July 16.
Wellness Day aims to inform participants of nutrition, health, car seat safety, and routine medical treatment. Children in treatment on the campus will be taught healthy living habits and their caregivers will be educated on skills necessary to ensure their children stay safe.
“At ECPI University Greenville, we are continually looking for opportunities to partner with organizations that foster a learning experience for our students as well as growing our community volunteerism,” Patti Wentz, ECPI University Greenville Campus director of nursing, said in the press release. “When the opportunity arose to work with A Child’s Haven, we were excited to explore ways that we can advance the education of our students while assisting them in their endeavors. The Wellness Day is a great example of one of those experiences that will assist in growth and development of the students at both organizations.”
