Applications are now being accepted for vacancies on several of the city of Greenville’s boards and commissions.
The city has openings on the following boards and commissions:
- Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee
- Board of Zoning Appeals
- Community Development Advisory Committee
- Construction and Maintenance Board of Adjustment/Appeals
- Firefighters’ Pension Fund Board of Trustees
- Greenville Housing Authority
- Greenville Housing Fund
- Greenville Transit Authority
- Public Facilities Corp.
- Public Safety Citizen Review Board
- Richland Cemetery Advisory Committee
- South Carolina Technology and Aviation Center Board of Directors
- Youth Commission
Individuals must live within the city limits to be eligible for most boards and commissions. Applications are due by Aug. 10.
Greenville City Council will review the applications and make appointments to the boards and commissions. Appointments will take place in October, with terms commencing in November.
