The Barbara Stone Foundation, a nonprofit organization with a mission to raise funds to enhance the lives of Greenville County citizens with disabilities, is accepting grant applications from Upstate nonprofits until March 15 at 5 p.m.
Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization creating or continuing programs that may empower individuals with disabilities, bridge gaps in existing programs or provide solutions to issues faced by the disability community.
“We hope that creative individuals and organizations in Greenville’s amazing network of providers will develop innovative ways to ensure our community is a place where individuals with disabilities have more opportunities,” said Barbara Stone Foundation executive director Lara Ceisel. “Our supporters believe in our mission and give us the incredible privilege of giving grants that truly make an impact and difference.”

The Barbara Stone Foundation has awarded over $195,000 in grants to Upstate nonprofits over the last few years, including $45,800 in 2020.
