Bon Secours St. Francis Health System announced Jan. 24 it will update its visitation restrictions beginning Jan. 25 at 7 a.m.
Due to the rise of COVID-19 cases, the health system will no longer allow visitors at its acute care facilities. However, exceptions may be considered at the discretion of the patient’s care team, including:
- End-of-life situations for non-COVID patients
- Accommodating OB patient needs
- Any patient incapable of providing informed consent
- When a visitor is essential for the patient’s emotional well-being and care
