Approximately 125 people participated in the inaugural Henry Schein and North American Rescue’s Carry the Load Memorial May Campaign on May 14 in Greenville.
During the event, a variety of teams walked 3.2 miles from the Planet Fitness parking lot at 2100 Wade Hampton Blvd. to The Home Depot at 2490 N. Pleasantburg Drive.
The Carry the Load event also featured:
- Guest speaker and gold star wife Beth Pannell.
- The presentation of colors.
- A wall of honor.
- Food and drinks.
The Greenville event was part of a 20,000-mile national relay across 48 states to honor and remember the sacrifices made by the American military, veterans, first responders and their families.
