More than 200 people attended the annual Wake Up With Rebuild event at the Kroc Center last week to hear a panel discussion on affordable housing.
The panel featured Ginny Stroud, Greenville Community Development administrator; Heather Meadors, director of community relations with Elliott Davis; Rusty Infinger; general counsel for South Carolina Legal Services; and Finnern Consulting’s Megan Finnern, a Rebuild Upstate board member.
Rebuild Upstate’s mission is to protect local affordable housing options for low-income homeowners. The Wake Up With Rebuild event offers information about the program’s work in the community, ways to get involved, and how to contribute to life-changing home repairs.
Last year, 105 families benefited from Rebuild Upstate’s services.
