Noah’s Event Venue announced the closure of its 30 nationwide event venues, including its Greenville location, leaving some Upstate couples rushing to find a new venue.
The decision to cease operations comes after the bankruptcy court managing Noah’s case directed the corporation to stop accepting funds for future services, which led to the corporation’s decision to close its doors.
“Noah’s has worked extremely hard to reorganize operations in order to continue hosting events; however, negative publicity along with the court order has made it impossible to continue current operations,” said Noah Corporation in a statement. “Over the last 13 years Noah’s has hosted over 10,000 events including hundreds of couples who, with short notice, had lost their event date at other venues. We were always willing and happy to assist these couples and feel confident that your community of vendors will do likewise.”
The statement also said that customers affected by the closure will be eligible for an administrative claim.
Noah’s Event Venue was located at 1301 Brookfield Blvd. in Greenville. The Greenville Journal reached out to Noah’s Event Venue but did not receive a response at the time of this article’s publication. To read the complete statement, click here.
