“We do consider ourselves a single team,” says Matt Carter, broker-in-charge. “Everything we do is about the whole group – not one or two people.”
The C. Dan Joyner pack has been extremely strong as of late. Carter says the company as a whole closed more than $1 billion in sales last year.
“The market continues to grow and we’ve grown with it,” he says. “We have some new agents that struggled for a year or two who did just an amazing amount of business at the beginning of this year.”
Carter attributes that success in part to the open door atmosphere around their West End office overlooking Fluor Field, and the ability to match the right mix of agents to each deal.
“We recognize that every real estate transaction is unique, and every client is unique,” Carter says. “We’ve got a lot of unique agents, too.”
Some deals require the teamwork of two or three agents, while others may need the skills and expertise of only one.
