Working and living. in Travelers Rest, Lori Owens, Senior Vice President and Branch Administrator, manages the bank’s network of branches. From Northern Greenville County through the City of Greenville, Lori’s mission is to provide consistent, customer-centered service throughout the branches.
“I enjoy what I do. I went into banking because I wanted a career where I could build relationships based on long-term interactions with my customers.” Lori commented when asked about why she chose banking. “Although my day-to-day interaction with customers is more limited than it once was, I take pride in my role as I watch the employees in our branches build those same types of relationships. I am proud to tell people I work for Bank of Travelers Rest. It is a place that feels very much like family both for employees and customers.”
Lori is as “home town” banker as you can get. Though she was raised near Simpsonville, she now calls Travelers Rest home. She is a graduate of Hillcrest High School and went on to receive her B.S. in Management from Clemson University. Lori, her husband and their daughters are avid Clemson Tiger Fans and consider themselves Walt Disney World fanatics. Lori has even participated in the Walt Disney World Princess Run since 2016.
