Artisphere presented by TD Bank will be held virtually from Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. through Oct. 4.
The event will feature the work of more than 70 juried professional artists from across the country. Each artist will have multiple pieces for sale in an online marketplace, where patrons may browse and shop from a variety of art including pottery and jewelry.
“Although we can’t be together in our usual festival atmosphere this year, we are proud to continue our partnership with Artisphere to present The Virtual Experience,” said TD Bank regional vice president Chris Fincher. “We hope the Upstate community will join us virtually as we show our support for these talented artists from across the country and our unique, vibrant arts culture in Greenville.”
Artisphere — The Virtual Experience will also provide opportunities for the public to engage with artists, jurors and gallerists through Facebook and Instagram Live. The programming will include some past Artisphere favorites such as metalsmith Ryan Calloway and chalk artist Nate Baranowski, as well as Kidsphere activities and artist demonstrations.
“Our aim is to create an engaging virtual experience for the Artisphere faithful,” said Linda Hannon, president of the Artisphere board of directors. “Our patrons have become accustomed to a level of unparalleled artistry and programming, and our innovative approach to this year’s show will not disappoint.”
