Late Sunday night Autumn, the Greenville’s zoo giraffe, gave birth to a healthy calf. An hour after birth, the calf was already standing and nursing.

The Greenville Zoo said on Tuesday the calf is a male and is six feet, one inch tall. He weighs 165 pounds. The zoo said his sister, Kaden, was six feet, two inches and weighed 157 pounds at birth.

According to Greenville Zoo director Jeff Bullock, the staff will likely allow the calf access to the giraffe exhibit Wednesday of this week with Autumn by his side.
