For the past four years, the Greenville County Soil & Water Conservation District has teamed up with Clemson Extension 4H to offer a week-long outdoor experience to kids from around the Upstate.

This year – Wet & Wild’s 5th year running – is no different. This immersive science education camp will be held at Pleasant Ridge Park in Marietta, SC, from Monday, July 15th through Friday, July 19th.

Throughout the week, campers will experience both the beauty and complexity of our environment while gaining a new appreciation for the natural resources we depend on and the species we share it with. We will explore the rich biodiversity of the Upstate through fun, hands-on activities that take a deeper look at forest and aquatic ecosystems, and explore how humans and urban sprawl impact the natural world. This year, we’re also excited to lead activities on wilderness survival skills!

If you have or know a 6-12 year old who loves the great outdoors, visit www.wetandwild.camp to register and lear

n more.
