Greenville sanitation truck collides with vehicle, bus shelter

A Greenville City sanitation truck driver lost control of his truck today, striking another vehicle and causing damage to a bus stop shelter, according to the Greenville Police Department.

Greenville Police said in a Facebook post the incident happened at the intersection of East Faris Road and South Pleasantburg Drive.

Police said the driver of the vehicle complained of minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for evaluation. No other injuries were reported.
