Because his acoustic guitar-fueled pop songs sound so effortless and laid-back, it can be easy to overlook the song crafting that’s gone into the five studio albums that Jason Mraz has released since 2002.

On million-selling hits like “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry),” “I’m Yours,” and “I Won’t Give Up,” Mraz has combined an infectious sense of rhythm, a knack for catchy melodies, and some inspired Brazilian-influenced nylon-stringed guitar work to create a breezy but intimate style.

Along the way, he’s sold over 7 million albums, had his songs downloaded over 11 million times, and racked up some trophies, including two Grammys, a Teen Choice award, and the ASCAP Song of The Year award in 2010 for “I’m Yours.”

Mraz has recently announced a new solo acoustic tour called “An Evening with Jason Mraz,” and he’ll be bringing his one-man show to the Peace Center on Saturday, March 10, at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale this Friday, Dec. 8, at 10 a.m., with prices ranging from $45-$65.
