Greenville High School has chosen SYNNEX Share the Magic as the beneficiary of its 2017 Spirit Week fundraiser.
The school will compete against J.L. Mann to see which school can bring in the most money for their chosen charity. Spirit Week 2017 begins Saturday, Sept. 9, and ends Friday, Sept. 15, when a check presentation will be held during a football game between the two high schools.
Since 2008, Greenville High Students have raised more than $1.3 million dollars for various charities.
SYNNEX Share the Magic is the philanthropic arm of SYNNEX Corporation. The initiative helps raise funds for four Upstate charities that serve children in need: A Child’s Haven, Clement’s Kindness, Make-A-Wish South Carolina, and Pendleton Place.
“Spirit Week is every student at Greenville High’s favorite part of the year,” said Anne Frances Saad, student body present of Greenville High, in a press release. “We are excited to work with SYNNEX Share the Magic this fall and look forward to an awesome Spirit Week. I am fortunate to lead our student body in raising money and cannot wait to see how all of our hard work pays off for such a great cause.”
