Getting to the College Football National Championship Game just got easier for Clemson fans living in the Upstate.

Delta Airlines has added four non-stop flights out of the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport to get Tiger fans to Tampa.

Those flights depart on Jan. 7 and Jan. 8 at 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The morning flights arrive in Tampa at 11:45 a.m. The afternoon flights will arrive at 5:15 p.m.

Direct flights from Tampa to GSP are scheduled for 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 10.

Clemson plays Alabama for the title Monday night at 8 p.m. at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium.

  1. Once the bowl game is over we need Delta to keep a regularly scheduled non-stop to Tampa!! Wonderful city!
