SC added 12,500 jobs in November

South Carolina added a net 12,500 jobs in November, more than any other state except Florida and Indiana, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Still, it didn’t quite make up for the month of October, when South Carolina lost a net 12,600 jobs, the worst performance of any state, according to the BLS.

While the monthly figures rise and fall, South Carolina’s longer term jobs numbers are very much in the positive column.

The state added a net 45,300 jobs between November 2015 and November 2016, according to the BLS.
