Gilder Creek in Mauldin is reporting sewer overflow


The South Carolina Department of Environmental Control is addressing a sewer overflow issue in the Gilder Creek neighborhood in Mauldin.

DHEC said in a release water in the creek shoudl be avoided after sewage spilled into the waterway.

Signs warning of the spill are now posted, according to the release.
